Not many Telugu movie going audience might remember the name but Thiagarajan Kumararaja is a very highly revered name in Tamil film circles. He has won National Award for Best First Film of a Director for the film Aaranya Kaandam.

It won him huge critical acclaim and people were all over to be part of his project. However, all this was almost six years ago. The director hasn’t made any film in between and has been part of only one film, Yennai Arindhal as script consultant.
After these entire years gap, he has announced his next and got none other than Samantha on board. Her co-stars in the film will be Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil. Just from the announcement itself, the film has become a crazy project.
