Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda emerged as a One-Million Dollar film for the actor. It was a significant milestone because Balakrishna is traditionally weak in the Overseas due to the kind of mass films he does.
Blue Media tried to spew venom on the film and used the occasion to do a hit job on Kamma community to satisfy its political masters.

They brought up a theory that Dallas Kamma community did bulk bookings to help the movie cross the milestone and showed the area forming the major chunk of Akhanda US collections as a proof.
This is the regular pattern of Blue Media to spew venom on Kamma Community with baseless allegations. They move on after the job done and there are gullible Reddy youth who carry this propaganda in parties of the United States.

However, facts remain different. Dallas is like Hyderabad for Telugu films and is recording a major chunk of collections of all films.
The best example to debunk this Bulugu Propaganda is Animal.

Animal is a film directed by a Reddy, produced by a Reddy, and it stars a Bollywood actor. Even those associated with Animal in the US are also from the Reddy Community.
If we look at Animal US Collections, Dallas once again registered a major chunk of collections ($804K) and even Salaar pulled ($1.04 million) more than a million from Dallas itself.
The logic of Kammas dominating Dallas and resorting to Bulk Bookings for Balakrishna’s films is silly.
Will they say Dallas Kammas did Bulk Bookings or embrace Animal where Reddy Community persons are the major stakeholders?
It is a normal trend that Dallas contributing the major chunk of collections be it for Akhanda or any film there after until Animal and Salaar.
Having said that all, the Blue Media will have no remorse because it is all intentional to please their political masters and do advantage to a party. The tragedy is with other community people particularly those of Reddy community who become tools in this propaganda and increase personal enemity with other communities blindly believing this non-sense.
