In the past, we have heard that Bollywood top heroine Deepika Padukone was approached to star in a Telugu movie starring Mahesh Babu in the lead and also for Chiranjeevi’s 150th film. But Deepika is yet to make her Tollywood debut.

So, what will make her accept a Telugu film? According to Deepika, it’s not the remuneration or the hero that matters to her to take up a Telugu project. The content and the role she would be offered would decide whether or not she takes up a film. If filmmakers from Tollywood approach her with an interesting script, Deepika is ready for Telugu movies even.
With the kind of roles she is offered both in Bollywood and Hollywood, we can’t expect her to accept roles in which heroine’s character is focussed mainly on the commercial aspect i.e., glamour. She says the language is no barrier for her. Hence, let’s hope our filmmakers take a good subject to her so that the actress can’t reject it.
