Despite the not-so-good response to Raaka’s first look released on Ally Arjun’s birthday, the buzz around the film continues to grow. But now, there is also some confusion around Deepika Padukone’s role in the film.
Rumours started spreading after news of her second pregnancy, with claims that her screen time was reduced or that she might step away from the project. However, the film’s team has now clearly denied all such reports.
According to the makers, everything is going as planned. Deepika is very much part of the film, and her role has not been changed. The shoot is moving smoothly, and her portions are being handled as per schedule.
In fact, reports say she is continuing her work actively. She recently completed a brand shoot and is preparing for her scenes in Raaka. Even action sequences are being planned carefully, with safety measures in place considering her condition.
The film is directed by Atlee and stars Allu Arjun in the lead. It is being made on a big scale, and so far, there are no signs of delay or disruption.
There is also some industry chatter that the team behind Kalki might feel relieved about removing her from the sequel because her second pregnancy would have made things even more complicated apart from her strict 8-hour daily shift rule. It reflects how tightly planned big projects have to be.
