Devara, featuring Jr NTR, has made a strong impact at the Indian box office, performing exceptionally well in the US, Nizam, and Andhra regions. It is doing good in Karnataka and showing better-than-expected results in Hindi markets.
However, it has faced huge disappointments in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

In Tamil Nadu, Devara’s first-day box office collection was around 1.5 crore net, a stark contrast to Kalki 2898 AD, which pulled in 3.42 crore.
Similarly, in Kerala, Devara managed only 50 lakh, while Kalki earned 2.18 crore on its first day. The downward trend continued on the second day, with further drops in both states.

From hereon, there are no hopes from these two states for Devara. Overall, the combined distributor share from both states would hardly touch 5-6 crores which is an extremely poor result.
Devara is holding up very well on its third day across the world and in many centers the collections are better than the second day. Overall it’s a very healthy first weekend for Devara at the box office.
