One big issue the Devara trailer faced is that some of the shots involving the lead hero NTR make him appear shorter than usual.
This sparked visible anger from his fans, while anti-fans took the opportunity to troll both the film and the star.

Talking to a YouTube channel, Devara cinematographer Rathnavelu addressed this issue, stating that he can only do what the film requires and deliver what the scene or story demands—not use camera angles to make NTR appear taller or shorter.
Rathnavelu also revealed a few interesting details, such as Jahnvi Kapoor appearing only in the second half.

The biggest revelation was, “When you come out of the theater, you will only remember Vara, even though Devara’s character is powerful.”
This is quite surprising, as everyone was expecting the father character, Devara, to be a major highlight.
