It is known to our readers that NTR’s Devara Pre-release event resulted in chaos and it was canceled without the event happening.
NTR released an apology video and the producers released a statement saying sorry to the fans.
Fans are seen blaming and abusing Shreyas Media, the Event Management company for printing passes more than the capacity and inadequate security.
The company, however, says, it has strictly adhered to the rules and did not print any excess passes.
“Public event permissions were not given due to Ganesh Nimajjanam and Rains. The venue capacity is only 5,500. The Police permission was for 4,000. We printed only 4,000 passes and made them like ATM Cards to avoid counterfeits. We will provide the invoice from the Printer if needed. But around 30,000 fans came without passes,” Shreyas Media CEO Srinivas says.
Regarding the inadequate Security, a last-minute Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s program reportedly messed up things.
Revanth Reddy had a program in Hotel Trident which is 4 Kilometers away from Novotel. Around 300 Policemen were deployed there. Usually, when there is a CM program, events like Devara will not get permission.
But then, Revanth Reddy’s program was confirmed at the last minute but the entire police force shifted there leaving bare-minimum security at Novotel.
Revanth Reddy’s event concluded by around 7.30 and the police arrived at the Novotel by 8.30 PM but by that time, the damage had already happened and the event was canceled.
The Intelligence Department had given a report that as many as 35,000 arrived for this event. Novotel had reported huge damages like partition glass, elevator glass, doors, furniture, etc. The damages are being assessed. The Event Management company has to pay for the damages and other vendors.
This is the second such loss venture for Shreyas Media after Brahmastra in 2022. Back then, Police Permission was canceled at the last minute. That event was also during Ganesh Nimmajanam. Coincidentally, NTR was the Chief Guest for that event.
