In a quirky turn of events, a goat named Devara has been sold for Rs. 1.28 lakhs in the Karimnagar district, despite its original price being around 20,000 to 30,000.

This special goat gained intense demand due to its name, which echoes NTR’s film Devara, as well as its traditional and sacred significance.

A bidding war ensued among buyers, ultimately driving the price to 1.28 lakhs, highlighting the power of branding and unique naming in rural markets.

Meanwhile, NTR’s film Devara faced significant criticism despite its massive box-office success. Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara earned 400 crores worldwide but left many viewers underwhelmed.
