The director of HIT franchise, Sailesh Kolanu has openly commented about the mixed reviews the film had supposedly garnered and he seemed very optimistic about the same.
When asked to comment on reviews that read HIT 1 is better than HIT 2, here’s what Sailesh had to say.
“Yes, I am aware of it. It is good that we are getting such reviews. Maybe it’s because of the taste of that particular reviewer or audience who felt the first part is better than the second. When I’m building a franchise, it is my responsibility to reach a wider audience. I can’t be trying to impressing the same small set of the audience again and again. I’ll try something new with every part and try to reach newer audience” Sailesh said.
The filmmaker adds “I am happy that way. I am the man who conceived who did HIT 1 and HIT 2. Either way, they’re praising me. HIT 2 was bigger in terms of scale and execution. It had more wholesome touch to it. There are many tonal changes. The essential trait of HIT will remain the same in next parts as well, but the tonal changes will be made to reach new audience”.
