Its a huge disappointment for Superstar Rajinikanth fans who are waiting to see their favourite actor in Cannes Red Carpet. The actor who was scheduled to be there initially backed off in the last moment as the final cut of his Kochadaiyaan trailer is not ready. The makers are very particular in delivering a high quality product and decided not to compromise. They asserted fans that the trailer would release very soon. Meanwhile, the buzz is that either the film’s audio launch or its premiere will be held in Japan, considering the fact that the actor has a huge fan following there. We will have to see if it materializes!

The Telugu version of the movie is titled Vikram Simha. Rajinikanth will be seen in dual role as father and son. While Shobana is cast opposite Rajini for one role, Deepika Padukone is the love interest of younger version of Rajinikanth. The film is being directed by Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya.
