Jeethu mentioned that although he is handing over the script to the Hindi makers so that they can make changes accordingly based on their audiences, the credit of the main storyline will go to him. However, the makers of the Telugu version are yet to speak on the third part with Venkatesh in the lead.
Notably, the Malayalam and Hindi versions are going on floors in October this year. The latter is confirmed to arrive on Gandhi Jayanti 2026, with Abhishek Pathak returning as the director.

It seems like the makers of all the versions are trying not to spoil the fun this time by revealing the twists that would be a part of Drishyam 3. This is undoubtedly a good move since audiences will get to play the guessing game until the end.
While the Malayalam version of Drishyam 2 was released directly on Amazon Prime Video, the Hindi version, featuring Ajay Devgn, came in theatres and became a big blockbuster with collections of more than Rs. 200 crores.
