After the blockbuster Geetha Govindam, Vijay Deverakonda is teaming up with Parasuram again for ‘Family Star,’ and the teaser was out yesterday.
It was pretty straightforward, mostly showcasing a rap song with some family scenes. The audience reception to the teaser is nothing ‘WOW’ and can be summarized as ‘decent.’
Going by the teaser, it looks like the writing has to be far superior to Parasuram and Vijay Deverakonda’s last few flicks. The humor and emotions should work big time for the film to make an impact.
The film aims to be a film made to attract families in hordes and for that, Vijay Deverakonda’s character needs to have strong chemistry with all the ladies, Abhinaya, Vasuki, and Mrunal Thakur, in the film.
Another important aspect is the film should have some memorable music and Gopi Sunder needs to deliver his best. The first single, Nandanandanaa, after some initial buzz fizzled out soon. It didn’t break out like Inkem Inkem Kavali from Geetha Govindam did before its release.
If the film clicks with the audience, the summer season and the best release date will give a tremendous boost to the film a the box office.
As of now, the promotional material has been a mixed bag, relying heavily on Vijay Deverakonda’s star power and Mrunal Thakur’s charm. We’re eagerly anticipating the next wave of promotional material to elevate the film’s hype.
