Fauzi is now reportedly targeting a March 18, 2027 release. The film was originally scheduled for December 3, but the date was pushed due to the pending shoot. The latest update claims that the makers are aiming to wrap the entire shoot by December.
Two huge action episodes are reportedly pending. The interval fight is currently being shot at a temple set, while the climax is expected to be filmed from November 15 to December 15.
Prabhas reportedly has around 25 shooting days left and is expected to complete his Fauzi portions by the first week of December. He will then move to Spirit for a continuous two-month schedule from the second week of December.
The makers are also planning to release a special glimpse or teaser on Prabhas’ birthday, October 23, giving fans a much-awaited update and starting the promotions for the new release date.
The team is also claiming that Prabhas has performed his action portions without body doubles. This is being highlighted amid the trolling over his action scenes in Raja Saab, Radhe Shyam and Adipurush.
However, fans remain skeptical about the new release date. Fauzi already missed its December 3 target because the shoot was not complete, so many will wait for the shoot to finish before believing the March 18 date.
There is also speculation that Mythri Movie Makers are pushing the Fauzi update now because Ranabaali is releasing on October 16. The Prabhas announcement could add some additional buzz to Vijay Deverakonda’s film which is lacking in hype right now.
Meanwhile, Spirit was earlier scheduled for March 5, 2027. If Fauzi releases on March 18, Spirit will have to be postponed to another date.
