Prabhas’ calendar is getting seriously packed. Fauzi is currently keeping him busy, Kalki 2 is set to begin its regular shoot in October, and Spirit still has a long shooting schedule ahead. Three major films are now moving through different stages, putting the actor at the centre of a demanding production cycle.
The immediate focus remains on Fauzi, Hanu Raghavapudi’s period action drama. Prabhas is currently shooting for the film, while the makers have now postponed its previously announced December 3 release. A new release date has not been announced yet, with the additional time being used to complete the ambitious project.
Coming October, another major commitment enters the picture. Nag Ashwin has confirmed that Kalki 2 will begin its regular shooting then, marking the start of a substantial production phase for the sequel. With the film expected to continue shooting into 2027, it will occupy a significant portion of Prabhas’ schedule.
Then there is Spirit. Sandeep Reddy Vanga has revealed that 40 days of shooting have been completed, while another 65 working days are still required. The film is targeting a March 5, 2027 release, so a sizeable schedule remains to be completed.
That is where Prabhas’ calendar gets interesting. One film is being shot now, another is about to enter regular production, and a third still needs 65 working days. With Fauzi no longer tied to its December deadline, the immediate release pressure has changed, but the production demands on Prabhas remain substantial.
