During the pre-release event of Vishwak Sen’s “Gaami,” director Sandeep Reddy Vanga thrilled the audience with an exciting update on his next project, “Spirit,” in response to overwhelming demand.
Vanga revealed that filming for “Spirit” is scheduled to kick off towards the end of 2024, sparking anticipation among fans.
Vanga’s track record speaks volumes: from “Arjun Reddy” grossing 50 crores to “Kabir Singh” surpassing 350 crores and “Animal” amassing a staggering 900 crores worldwide, expectations for “Spirit” are naturally sky-high.
With projections hinting at a potential worldwide gross of over 1000 crores, “Spirit” could mark Vanga’s first venture into the esteemed 1000-crore club.
While Prabhas’s much-anticipated film, “Kalki 2898 AD,” is also poised to potentially breach the 1000-crore mark post-“Baahubali 2” (2017), “Spirit” stands as a potential milestone for him should “Kalki” fall short, making it his first non-SS Rajamouli film to achieve this feat.
All these predictions hold only if the film is good and is loved by the audiences like his previous films.
While specific details about “Spirit” remain under wraps, Prabhas is portraying an intense and dedicated police officer, consistent with Vanga’s trademark style of unapologetic emotional depth.
