Jr NTR’s script selection over his last films has been safe and sound to say the least. But as far as audio albums go, his non-RRR films like Aravinda Sametha, Janatha Garage, and others used to have middling-to-good albums.
The complaint was that NTR wasn’t having chartbuster albums that are capable of building hype to his films on their own. Moreover, the songs in NTR’s albums weren’t particularly ruling the roost on social media.
But for a change, the album of Devara has started to top the trend charts often now. The Fear Song is being used for heroic edits on Twitter while the newly released Chuttamalle is trending on Instagram with several reels on the same.
This is the kind of commercially packed album that NTR has been lacking to date and this void is being filled to a decent extent by Anirudh’s work for Devara now.
This is where the likes of Anirudh add value to a film on their own. The brand value, quality of composition and other stuff is clearly working for the cause here. It was a wise move to have Anirudh onboard for this film.
