SHOCKING! Hansika’s Marriage to Friend’s Ex Ends in Divorce

Hansika Motwani and Sohael Khaturiya divorce news

Actor Hansika Motwani and businessman Sohael Khaturiya have officially ended their marriage. The Bandra Family Court granted them a divorce by mutual consent. The decision comes a little more than two years after their wedding in December 2022.

According to court records, Hansika Motwani and Sohael Khaturiya lived together only for a short period after their marriage. Over time, the couple realised that they had major differences in temperament, opinions and lifestyle choices.

These differences reportedly caused frequent disagreements between them. Some arguments were said to occur even over small matters. Gradually, the situation made it difficult for the couple to continue living together peacefully.

The plea submitted before the Bandra Family Court also mentioned efforts from both families to save the marriage. Relatives and close friends from both sides reportedly encouraged the couple to resolve their issues and continue their relationship.

Despite these efforts, the problems remained unresolved. Hansika Motwani and Sohael Khaturiya eventually agreed that separation was the most practical decision. The couple has reportedly been living separately since July 2, 2024.

During the legal proceedings, Hansika Motwani was represented by advocate Adnan Shaikh. Court records indicate that the process was completed through mutual understanding without major legal disputes.

Notably, Hansika Motwani chose not to claim streedhan, alimony or any financial settlement during the divorce. Both parties submitted affidavits confirming that neither had any financial claims against the other.

Before marrying Hansika Motwani, Sohael Khaturiya had earlier been married to Rinky in 2016, who was reportedly Hansika’s friend. Interestingly, Hansika Motwani had also attended that wedding ceremony.

After that marriage ended, Sohael Khaturiya later married Hansika Motwani in 2022. The relationship, which attracted significant public attention at the time, has now officially come to an end following the court’s decision.
