In a shocking incident, Maithili, a popular TV actress, attempted to commit suicide. The incident took place on Monday within the Panjagutta police station limits. The actress was identified by the police as Maithili. On Monday evening, she made a phone call to the Panjagutta police and asked them to take action against her husband. Reportedly, Maithili also demanded the police seize her husband’s vehicle, or she would commit suicide.
By the time she made the phone call, she had attempted suicide by consuming sleeping tablets along with 8 cans of Breezer. The police traced the actress’ house using phone signals. Maithili, who was unconscious, was rushed to the nearby NIMS hospital.
According to the latest reports, she is currently undergoing treatment. The police also mentioned that Maithili had also filed a complaint against her husband in PS in the past.
