Senior beauty Rakul Preet Singh got married to her longtime boyfriend Jackky Bhagnani in Goa last week and there is a relevant and good social message associated with the same.
As per reports, Rakul had a carbon-neutral and environmentally friendly wedding.
First, there were no physical invitations for the wedding. This was a move to cut down the use of wedding cards which in turn works against deforestation. All the wedding invitations were sent digitally.
Usually, when stars get married, there is extensive usage of fireworks. But that didn’t happen with this wedding in a bid to eliminate environmental damage.
On a personal touch, the caterers were asked not to serve sugar and gluten-oriented dishes to the guests. This is to promote healthy eating, it seems.
Well, this surely is one interesting way to promote a pro-environment stance and a positive effort to promote eco-green weddings.
