Director Anil Ravipudi had pinned a lot of hopes on Bhagavanth Kesari to give him a new makeover and a more serious image. The film has generated good buzz so far.
During promotional interviews, Anil revealed that they had shot a remix of Balayya’s old popular song, ‘Danchave Menatha Kuthura.’

However, they decided not to include it in the initial prints. Anil and his team decided to add the remix song to the film only five days after its release to ensure it doesn’t affect the seriousness of the emotional plot, with the hope of attracting repeat audiences with the song.
However, it seems Anil Ravipudi might be overlooking something crucial. Gone are the days when people would return to theaters just to watch a song. We now live in the WhatsApp era, where someone is likely to record and share the song on WhatsApp groups and social media as soon as it’s added.

Even die-hard fans won’t have a reason to return to the theaters solely to watch the song. The dynamics were different in the old days when WhatsApp wasn’t there.
Moreover, many viewers may not fully appreciate the magic of the remix song as they tend to watch it on small mobile screens. So, why not use the song for pre-release promotions to build hype? It appears that Anil Ravipudi may be overlooking a straightforward piece of logic.
