Coming out of a pathetic situation and pulling out oneself together after a big tragedy that took lives are big things for a family. Director Shankar seems to be in the same situation after the tragedy that befell while shooting for ‘Indian 2‘.
The director has been grieving ever since a crane a fell on his crew members and killed an assistant director, an art assistant and a production assistant. Expressing his deep grief over the incident, Shankar shared a heart-wrenching message through a tweet.
He wished that it would have been better if the crane fell on him rather than on his crew members. He has been in a state of shock and spending sleepless nights. Actually director Shankar has missed the crane by a very narrow margin.
We would pray for the departed souls and also wish that the director comes out of his grief very soon. It’s not just for completing the movie but for his own sake as he can’t blame himself for what has happened. Nevertheless, proper planning and ensuring secure measures must be the order of the day for every movie’s shooting.
