Yesteryear audiences might be well aware of the super hit combination of legendary actor Akkineni Nageshwar Rao and ace filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao. But, it’s lesser known that there had been clashes between the two.

Dasari revealed that Akkineni Nahgeshwara Rao had insulted him once and since then they were not on talking terms. He never tried for any peace between them because it hurt him like anything. He was pained by Akkineni’s behavior but doesn’t want to reveal the reason because people will drop their respect for him.
“I had immense respect for him. Even people respect him immensely. If I reveal anything, people will lose half of the respect they hold for him,” Dasari added, “I never admired anyone except for ANR. I never prostrated before anyone but ANR. But, he gave me this insult.” Dasari said that he would never forget that insult in his life.
