King Nagarjuna is producing and presenting good films on prestigious production house Annapurna Studios continuing the legacy of legend ANR. Now, with EPIC Annapurna has produced Pallaburusu, a completely different father-son bond story based in rural Telangana. The movie created good buzz with folk song, trailer and it is releasing on 14th August.
Today, the team conducted pre-release event with Nagarjuna as special guest. Talking at the event, director Uday Chauhan got emotional and stated that he is glad to have narrated the story to his idol Nagarjuna and made a movie in Annapurna. He stated that the film is all about human emotions and taking care of parents.
He revealed that when he found out that younger generation is neglecting parents, he could not take it and made a movie about it. He explained that sometimes smallest of the events can lead to revelation of biggest of cracks in a family and that is the film. Sudhakar Reddy thanked Nag and Pallaburusu team for giving him another gem of a film.
Nagarjuna looked emotional and he stated that he had the luck to take care of his parents. But he misses them and he asked younger generation to learn to take care of their parents. He revealed that ANR used to take care of his mother, Annapurnamma more than himself and Pallaburusu is releasing on his mother’s birthday which makes it even more special.
He expressed his happiness for producing the film and stated that he is satisfied and proud to be associated with it. He further stated that audiences will laugh throughout for the film but their heart will be filled happiness watching genuine emotions on screen. Nag expressed confidence on movie becoming a huge hit.
