Mahesh Babu Jr NTR Ram Charan Allu Arjun

2024 is nearly done and dusted as we are entering the final month of the year tomorrow. Coming to the topic now, let us have a look at what has been the best album of 2024.

It all started off with Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram and it had a reasonably good album. Though the songs weren’t instant chartbusters, they grew on the audience, and especially the Kurchi Madatha Petti was a raging sensation. This album is more of a revival for Thaman who had been on a dry run of late.

Then came the popular album of Devara. The dear song and Chuttamalle were decent hits. This was followed by the Ayudha Pooja which started off slowly but grew on the audience big time. This could perhaps be considered the best album of the year.

Pushpa 2 album had multiple new outings and they all succeeded at varying degrees. But the thing with DSP’s albums and songs are that they tend to slowly grip on the listeners rather than become instant hits. The chances are that these songs could rule the playlists after the release.

Lastly, we have Game Changer album. While the first two songs were lukewarm ones, the recently released Naanaa Hyraanaa is a pleaser. It has the right strings to enter the charts and could gain more fame in the due course.

As things stand, one can possibly argue that Devara is the best album of the year, closely followed by Guntur Kaaram. Pushpa 2 could get right up there after the release.
