Now, the makers of Jailer 2 have released a special glimpse video from the song, featuring some stunning moves by actress Poorna and a walk by Rajinikanth to the Malayalam-style lyrics sung by Anirudh Ravichander.

Since the announcement of the release of the first single of Jailer 2, many people automatically started discussions about whether this first single will also be an item number similar to the first single of Jailer, which was Kaavaalaa.

Finally, the glimpse has cleared all doubts, confirming that the first single of Jailer 2, titled Ala Bolelo, is an item number featuring a special appearance by actress Poorna.

In response to the glimpse, many people started criticizing the makers, suggesting that the team behind Jailer 2 made a mistake by casting Poorna. They note that Poorna is nowhere near Tamannaah, feeling that the major reason for the success of Kaavaalaa was Tamannaah’s massive reach.

Therefore, they feel Poorna is miscast and that the makers of Jailer 2 should have cast a prominent actress for this item number, similar to Tamannaah’s casting in the original Jailer. Additionally, regarding the vocals and lyrics featured in the glimpse, some people feel it is not catchy and that Anirudh’s voice feels very odd.

However, all these are just early views on the glimpse and we cannot predict the song’s outcome based solely on it. Hence, it remains to be seen whether Ala Bolelo will satisfy the expectations of the audience and emerge as a viral hit similar to Kaavaalaa upon its release on August 21st.
