NTR Can Make It 3, What About Charan?

Jr NTR Ram Charan

Both NTR and Ram Charan gained Pan Indian attention and following with RRR. However, their immediate next films after RRR have a completely contrasting story to tell.

While Devara managed to be a decent enough product that worked reasonably well at the box office, Game Changer turned out to be a disappointment for everyone involved.

The makers of Devara communicated that the film had collected over Rs 500 crore gross and this was extensively publicised then. In that case, this is the first Rs 500 crore film for NTR after RRR.

Adding to that, Tarak has War 2 and the film with Neel which are easily projected to touch the Rs 500 crore mark. War 2 has the sequel advantage and it is a multistarrer as well. Rs 500 crore is a bare minimum for this film, but the credit will have to be shared with Hrithik Roshan.

The film with Neel is anyway a mad product and it must easily go past the Rs 500 crore considering the combination factor.

As for Charan, his immediate next option after RRR was Game Changer and this didn’t pan out well. Next, he has the film with Buchi Babu. This film is going to be a big deal in Telugu but when it comes to Hindi, Buchi Babu will add no value and it is Charan who will have to do the heavy lifting along with the core content.

Then we have the film with Sukumar which must ideally do Rs 500 crore gross. Sukumar adds a lot of value in Hindi as this will be his immediate next film after Pushpa.

As it appears, Tarak will ideally have the luxury of three back to back Rs 500 crore grossers thanks to the good planning. Charan will have to sweat a bit for Buchi’s film but the Sukumar film is going to be a prospective one.
