Huge Interval Block, Kriti, Color Twist? What’s Neel Cooking

NTR fans are eagerly waiting for fresh updates on Dragon, the much-awaited film in the combination of Prashanth Neel and Jr NTR. The latest buzz suggests Neel is shaping the film in a way that gives fans plenty to celebrate.

According to industry talk, the film will feature a massive action block in the interval, and this episode is said to be one of the biggest highlights of the film. More importantly, it is reportedly being designed with NTR fans in mind, which means Prashanth Neel is likely planning a full-on elevation moment for Tarak at that point.

That alone is enough to raise expectations.

Neel is known for building films around high-voltage hero elevation moments, and interval blocks have often been one of his biggest strengths. So if he is indeed preparing an over-the-top action episode for Tarak at the halfway mark, it could easily become one of the film’s major theatrical high points.

Another interesting detail is about the film’s main conflict. The glimpse released earlier introduced several characters and gave a broad feel of the world but reportedly did not reveal the core conflict of the story. That main track is said to involve Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon as well, which has naturally increased curiosity around her role in the film. However, for now, this part of the buzz should be treated with caution, as it could simply be industry gossip.

There is also talk that Dragon may show a very different visual side of Prashanth Neel. His films are usually associated with dark frames, black-and-grey shades, smoke-filled visuals, and a rugged color palette. But according to the latest buzz, Dragon’s flashback portions will look completely different.

The word is that the entire flashback will be full of color and, unlike Neel’s signature style. It could also suggest that the flashback portions are emotionally significant and tonally very different from the rest of the film.

With Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts backing the project, Ravi Basrur scoring the music, and Prashanth Neel teaming up with NTR for the first time, expectations are naturally sky-high.

If the buzz around the interval block, hidden conflict, and colorful flashback turns out to be true, Dragon could end up offering a very different shade of Prashanth Neel while still delivering the kind of mass high that NTR fans are waiting for. The film is currently scheduled to release on June 11, 2027.
