Jr NTR is currently occupied with Devara which is nearing the final leg of the shooting. Incidentally, he is set to turn busy with his next film War 2 very soon. There are reports that he will commence working on the film from this April.
Now that NTR has locked War 2 from April, Prashanth Neel who has kept the film with NTR on the horizon for a long time has moved swiftly.
Now that the film with NTR is getting delayed, Neel has moved smartly as he has reportedly decided to take Salaar 2 onto the floors sooner than expected. Bobby Simha and Prithviraj Sukumaran have announced that the filming for Salaar 2 will commence very soon.
Initially, the plan would have been to work on Salaar 2 at a later point in time as Prabhas is already occupied with Raja Saab and Kalki. But with Neel turning available due to NTR’s Bollywood commitment, Salaar 2 is back in the front seat again.
If anything, Prabhas has to work round the clock to simultaneously film Kalki, Raja Saab, and Salaar 2. But the positive thing is that Prabhas will be done with Salaar 2 earlier than expected and considering that the first part is a hit, he has a potential big money grosser in Salaar 2 which could be a safe bet. Neel will also be done with Salaar commitment so the timing is about right for Salaar 2 now.
