NTR Will Have To Do It Without Rajamouli?

For the first time, NTR forayed into the North Indian belt. This happened with RRR which turned out to be a hit in the Hindi market and the two main men NTR and Ram Charan attained fame up North.

However, RRR almost entirely ran on Rajamouli’s branding and his face value. He is the real main man for the film in the North Indian belt and the film can ultimately be seen only as a launchpad for Charan and Tarak up north.

To know how much fame and box office pull NTR has actually attained with RRR, we have to look at the theatrical returns of Devara up North.

As for the promotional campaign, NTR won’t have a master marketer in the form of Rajamouli this time around. He will have work with Koratala Siva who is a rather unknown name in North belt.

Koratala does have credence in Telugu but outside this market, he doesn’t have too much going for him. As far as Devara is concerned, all Koratala can do is deliver a winning product.

Rajamouli mastered marketing and his strategies work miraculously even in the Hindi belt. This mastermind planning might not be happening for Devara to the same degree as Rajamouli. This is where NTR has to step up and make sure the product gets rightly promoted in the all important North belt.
