NTR Finally Wakes up on Morphs, Late but Right Move

Junior NTR fans file complaint over morphs

Recently, there has been growing concern about celebrity photos being morphed and shared on social media, often in offensive or obscene ways. Many of these posts have gone viral, causing distress to fans and the celebrities themselves.

In this context, Junior NTR fans took the initiative to meet CP VC Sajjanar and file a complaint regarding such misuse of the actor’s images. According to Nandipati Murali, a member of the NTR fan association, several social media handles have been morphing Junior NTR’s photos in indecent ways and posting them online. Over the past few months, trolling has increased massively, with memes and posts attacking his personal life, family members, religion, and public image, often attempting character assassination.

Initially, NTR and his team believed such trolling was common for all actors. However, the situation has now escalated into a serious problem, especially on Instagram and Twitter. The issue should have been addressed much earlier with legal action against those responsible. It is better late than never that fans have now approached the police to demand action.

NTR’s association has requested strict measures against the individuals involved. They highlighted the damage such posts are causing to the actor’s reputation. Fans have also demanded that offensive content be removed immediately. CP VC Sajjanar assured that strict action would be taken against those who personally target celebrities and misuse their images.

Social media reflects society. While people often blame the platforms for trolling, these actions mirror our own behavior. People themselves are responsible for consuming and spreading offensive and abusive content and giving reach to such content. Who gave the people the right to harm others’ reputations and commit character assassination online?

However, it is impossible to stop all social media trolls. Thousands of users continuously create and circulate manipulated images and troll videos, making it extremely difficult to monitor every post.

Arresting all offenders or deleting every harmful post is not feasible. That said, taking action against a few main mischief-makers who deliberately spread negativity and putting them into jail can help control the problem to a great extent and set an example.
