The Arjun Reddy remake in Hindi as Kabir Singh is going great with the hype created by the teaser that they got out recently with the similar response that we got here in Telugu for the original. Shahid, as expected, lived up to the role but he had to go through a lot to play the heartbroken alcoholic and addict.
Speaking of his experience working as Kabir Singh in Sandeep Vanga’s film, Shahid Kapoor revealed that he had to smoke about 20 cigarettes a day for the role. Now we know he has kids at home and he couldn’t go back to them just like that with the cigarette and spirit smell.
The actor had to bathe himself for two hours to get rid of the stinking smell and to become baby proud by the time he reaches them. That is some tremendous job for an actor to balance work and life and Shahid seems to be doing a great job there. The film is scheduled to release on June 21.
