Prabhas’ entry in the trailer is a bit underwhelming but soon compensates with his character’s fun and action attitude and a line about breaking records will make his fans whistle and cheer.

Amitabh Bachchan looks terrific. In one brilliant shot, he effortlessly lifts several baddies, showcasing his strength as Ashwatthama. Kamal Haasan makes a brief but impactful appearance, commanding the screen as expected. Disha Patani, with her single shot, clearly adds to the film’s glamour quotient. The villain played by Saswata Chatterjee looked not so impactful.
The trailer has some areas that could raise concerns, such as Deepika Padukone’s dubbing in Telugu, which is off. Let’s hope it doesn’t turn out to be a roadblock for the film. The trailer offers VFX at an excellent level for a few shots, but we can expect mixed reactions to some parts as well. It could have included more high moments to make up for this.

Santosh Narayanan has finally given some exciting BGM for a Telugu film. His score enhances some of the action blocks and dramatic portions in the trailer quite nicely.
The sci-fi genre is usually less appealing to some audiences, especially in B and C centers. We have to see how much the trailer of Kalki 2898 AD excites them. But if the comedy works out, it could sail through.
