Kamal Haasan’s Peak Lineup: Comeback Possible?

After the failure of Indian 2 and Thug Life, Kamal Haasan has not announced his next project yet. There have been no updates on his previously revealed films. At present, he remains focused on his role as a DMK MP in the Rajya Sabha.

In this situation, reports suggest that Kamal Haasan is preparing for a major comeback with a strong lineup of three projects. The slate is expected to begin with the much awaited sequel Kalki 2, which has already generated significant buzz.

According to reports, the shooting of Kalki 2 is likely to begin by the end of this month. Kamal Haasan is said to play the primary antagonist in the film and is expected to have more than 90 minutes of screen presence.

After completing Kalki 2, Kamal Haasan is reportedly set to begin work on his previously announced action thriller with stunt directors Anbariv. The film is tentatively titled KH 237 and has been in discussion for some time.

Once KH 237 is completed, he is expected to move on to his highly anticipated reunion project with Rajinikanth. This collaboration remains one of the most awaited projects in Kollywood and has been discussed for years.

Following reports of this lineup, many social media users have reacted positively. They believe Kamal Haasan has a strong set of films ahead and feel that two major successes could help him regain his lost market position.

Some also point to the massive success of Vikram and feel that sustaining that momentum could have placed him at the top of the industry. Instead, back to back failures and political responsibilities are seen as setbacks to his acting career.

Many believe these three projects are crucial for Kamal Haasan’s comeback. The final outcome now depends on how these films shape up and whether they can emerge as blockbusters upon release.
