As per the recent reports Sreeleela is going to star in Dostana 2 alongside Lakshay and Vikrant Massey. Earlier the film was being planned with Kartik Aryan, Janhvi and Lakshay but after creative differences it was shelved.
Kartik Aryan is currently busy with Naagzilla, Main Tera Tu Meri Tu Meri Main Tera and an unnamed film by Anurag Basu that also has Sreeleela in the lead role. The young actress has replaced Bollywood insider and star kid Janhvi which is a big blow for the nepo-kid gang as per the fans.

They feel hopeful that talent and glamorous appeal can shine if Bollywood outsiders show dedication. Dostana 2 by Dharma Productions now has an all non-star kid cast which comes as a surprise to all Karan Johar trolls.
Sreeleela’s big release with Kartik Aryan is all set for a Diwali release and it will clash with Ayushman Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna starrer horror-comedy Thama. 23 year old Sreeleela came to a much wider notice with her dance song in Pushpa 2 Kissik alongside Allu Arjun.
