Surat city police in Gujarat have arrested Vikas Ahir, a prominent Hindu leader & BJP worker, along with two others, for their involvement in selling MD drugs.
Vikas Ahir, previously the president of Hindu Yuva Vahini Gujarat and associated with BJP Yuva Morcha, was apprehended with 354 grams of MD drugs.
Vikas Ahir has been arrested by Surat Police for smuggling drugs through an ice cream parlour. The arrest comes as a stark irony since Ahir called himself an active anti-drug campaigner on social media.
Vikas was also notorious for his aggressive campaign against Shah Rukh Khan’s film Pathaan. He threatened audiences, vandalized theaters, and tried to intimidate theater owners into not screening the film. Despite all that, the film turned out to be an All Time Blockbuster at the box office.
Shah Rukh Khan’s fans are celebrating what they see as a poetic justice in the arrest of Vikas Ahir. He who ran a smear campaign against Aryan Khan for drugs has now been caught red-handed in a drug peddling case, with clear evidence against him.
