After Dorothy, sources suggest that Karthik Subbaraj is directing a direct OTT film, with Atharvaa, Prabhu Deva and Upendra playing the lead roles.
Even though there have been no official updates regarding Karthik Subbaraj’s next theatrical project following the OTT film, sources suggest that he recently narrated a mass commercial entertainer script to Telugu actor Chiranjeevi.
While everyone initially dismissed this rumor and claimed it was just random social media speculation, during a recent Telugu event, Karthik Subbaraj stated that he wants to work with actors Nani and Chiranjeevi in Telugu.
Immediately after his statement went viral, fans started connecting the dots and came up with theories concluding that Karthik Subbaraj and Chiranjeevi are most likely to collaborate soon.
In response to this speculation, many Chiranjeevi fans have already started celebrating, as they believe Karthik Subbaraj is a solid commercial director who has huge potential to deliver an iconic film for the star.
However, his last collaboration with a senior actor was Petta with Rajinikanth; while it was a huge hit in Tamil Nadu, it did not become a success in other languages.
