The pre-release event of Kannada movie ‘Roberrt’ came to the notice of Telugu audiences because of a video speech that’s been circulating on social media by Kannada movie fans. It’s about a speaker talking about Kannada films like ‘KGF’ that could compete with Telugu films and win over the Telugu audiences.
Kannada fans are proudly carrying this video, nevertheless Telugu movie fans wouldn’t have any problem with that. If the content is good, Telugu audiences always welcome movies from other languages without any issues unlike a neighbouring film industry where only their language movies are accepted and the other language movies come under criticism.
‘KGF’ was basically a Kannada film and it’s only one film so far that caught the attention of Telugus big time and not much from Kannada Film Industry after the Yash starrer. Regardless of the language, everyone wants to see some good stories coming from the Kannada industry, as well.
Telugu Film Industry immediately embraced talent from Kannada and that’s why KGF director Prashanth Neel grabbed two big chances with two of the leading superstars of the industry i.e., one with pan-Indian star Prabhas and the other with Jr. NTR. Let’s hope, impressing the Telugu market will continue further with good stories from Sandalwood.
