Kill emerged as a sleeper hit last year. Despite featuring content that was similar to R-rated films in Hollywood, Kill received a positive response from critics and audiences. The action sequences were specifically praised at the time of release.

In case Nikhil Nagesh Bhat and Universal Studios sign a deal, there is a possibility that audiences might get to see a different film of the superhero genre.
Everyone is well-aware of the superhero films that are arriving from MCU and DCEU over the last 4-5 years.
Nikhil’s entry into this genre might bring freshness for those who are tired of watching the routine stories in all superhero films.
However, handling a Hollywood film as a director is not an easy task.
Hollywood films are made on a much larger scale compared to Indian films and considering Nikhil’s experience over the years, it will be interesting to see if he can handle a big film from a big production company.
