Koratala Siva had a great chance to explore the untapped side of NTR after RRR but he ended up delivering a mid product in the form of Devara. Setting aside the finesse and storytelling side of things, if we look at the visual presentation, it was shambolic.
Especially, there were several scenes in the film including the intro fight, container scene and others that had NTR in the worst possible framing.

While many are blaming the cinematographer for this, it must be noted that Koratala is also to be held responsible for okaying something like that.
Cut to now, the natural expectation now is that Prashanth Neel must deliver the goods big time for NTR’s fans and there are no two ways about it. He is the man who is expected to deliver the best visual experience for Tarak’s fans.

Earlier, Neel made the most of Yash’s screen presence and delivered a winning KGF. More or less, Yash and NTR have a similar height meter but Yash is substantially bulkier.
The onus is now on Neel to somehow engineer the right kind of physical look for NTR and make sure that he gets KGF-range shots. If needed, he might have to push NTR to look bulkier.

After a failed attempt from Koratala in terms of the visual presentation of NTR, the expectation now is that Neel will do the job and entertain fans.
Considering the nature of Neel’s films, there will anyway be not much scope for acting and emoting, so the need is there to at least showcase the best possible visual aesthetic of the hero.
This film is projected to have an interesting plotline revolving around the golden triangle between India, Myanmar and Bhutan so it evidently comes with a larger than life story. The only expectation now is that Neel must get the visual aesthetic absolutely right.
