Vijay Deverakonda’s Kushi is meeting an anti-climax. Despite receiving decent talk and reviews, the movie is heading towards a Flop. The film crashed on Monday, the first working day after its release.
In both the Telugu states, the movie has collected less than 1 Crore share which is very low and signs are evident that the buyers especially those in Andhra Pradesh are heading towards massive losses.
To know the extent of the fall, Sunday Share of Guntur district is 35 Lakhs while it fell to 4 Lakhs on Monday. Krishna district registered a similar fall. It was 38 Lakhs share on Sunday, down to 7.2 Lakhs on Monday.
Buyers in AP are looking at 40-50% losses unless something drastic happens from here.
Currently, North America is the only profitable area for the movie. Nizam is better placed but a long way to go to the breakeven.
The second weekend contribution is doubtful because there is Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty that caters to a similar audience and there is Jawan that is taking the box office by storm.
Vijay expected some relief from the film after the disaster result of Kushi but did not expect this to happen.
