Kushi is the next notable outing from Telugu cinema and the stakes are high on this as both Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha are looking to score a box office winner with the same.
Coming to the point, Kushi has wrapped up its censor formalities today and it was given a U/A certification.
As for the runtime, the film has sealed 2 hours 45 minutes as its final runtime. This is a slightly elongated runtime for a love drama like Kushi.
There’s the risk that comes with it, as if there’s any lag, the toilet breaks and cigarette breaks will be on a high. Keeping the audience engaged all the way through will be the task.
However, this could well be a calculated risk from Siva Nirvana who has a knack of making winning love dramas. Else, he wouldn’t have gone for this runtime, at a day and age when makers are pushing for low runtimes.
Kushi is up for release on the 1st of September and Vijay is already promoting it through events.
