
The sequel to Lucifer, L2: Empuraan, starring Mohanlal in the lead and directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, which was expected to be released on March 27th, is now in trouble.
L2: Empuraan is produced by both Lyca Productions and Aashirvad Cinemas. Now, according to unverified rumors, a dispute has arisen between the two production houses.

Initially, Aashirvad Cinemas planned to distribute the movie across the nation, but now Lyca Productions is also showing interest in distributing the movie.
Consequently, Aashirvad Cinemas is trying to remove Lyca Productions from the project. Lyca Productions is also showing a willingness to exit from the project, but Lyca is demanding around 85 crores as a settlement.

Negotiations are now happening to resolve this issue. Due to this distribution conflict, even the release of the film’s official posters is reportedly in trouble.
L2: Empuraan has huge expectations among audiences. However, for the past few weeks, negativity has surrounded the project, including fans’ anger against the production house for not handling promotions properly.

It remains to be seen whether this issue between the production houses will be resolved and if L2: Empuraan will have a smooth release on March 27th as planned.
