Megastar Chiranjeevi has been roped in as the anchor for new season of Meelo Evaru Kotteswarulu. It will be telecasted on MAA TV from December 12 later in the year.

The show, which is Telugu version of Kaun Banega Crorepati, was launched in Telugu with Akkineni Nagarjuna as host. Its first season was a phenomenal success. It led to two more seasons 3 and 4. By the time the season 4 was on the air the show lost its sheen and as it progressed things were pretty clear for everyone.
This reboot of the show with Chiranjeevi, therefore is a tricky proposition. If the star could make it click with a fresh presentation it could rub off positively on his comeback film Khaidi No 150 as well that would be releasing in a month after the start of the show.
