Nayanthara’s husband, Vignesh Shivan, is set to direct the film “LIC (Love Insurance Corporation),” featuring Pradeep Ranganathan and Krithi Shetty in lead roles, with SJ Suryah in a significant role.
Launched in December, the film recently encountered a hurdle as Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) issued a notice to the makers, including Vignesh Shivan and Seven Screen Studio, objecting to the use of the title.
The notice stipulates a seven-day period for a title change, threatening legal action for copyright infringement if ignored. The filmmakers, as of now, have not responded or provided clarification.
This collaboration marks the first time Vignesh, Pradeep, and Krithi are working together. Produced by Seven Screen Studio and Rowdy Pictures, with Anirudh Ravichander composing the music, the movie also features Yogi Babu and boasts a technical team including editor Pradeep Raghav and cinematographer Ravi Varman.
