Telugu box office is preparing for multiple new films that are arriving in a short period of time as we have Ram Charan, who is arriving with Peddi, followed by Akhil with Lenin.
In terms of promotional material, it needs to be said that both the films have been rather silent till now. Peddi is doing occasional video material but that’s about it.
But at the end of the day, there is only so much that Charan can do being the superstar that he is apart from these conventional interviews and stuff. It is the promotional material and quality of the content that must come to the table.
But when the discussion goes towards Lenin, Akhil really needs to pump it up, considering the kind of emphasis that this project has on his career.
He is already in great need of success and is trying something out of the ordinary with this rural action drama. So he can go all out when it comes to the promotional campaign of this film.
Perhaps is waiting for the right time to start the promotions as the release of Charan’s film is imminent and he can get to action correspondingly.
Charan can afford to be silent for the time being as he has the star status and beyond that, it’s the content that must do the heavy lifting. But when it comes to Akhil, he needs to create that early anticipation for the film before the release and an aggressive campaign like the one he did for Agent could help.
