“LEO,” the much-anticipated action film starring Thalapathy Vijay and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, will be available for streaming on Netflix starting November 21, 2023. Netflix India secured the digital streaming rights for “LEO” at an astronomical sum.
The film made a grand debut in theaters on October 19, 2023, amid much hype and excitement. According to Tamil trade experts, LEO is on the verge of reaching the impressive 500 Crore rupees mark in global box office earnings, marking Vijay’s third film to surpass the 300 Crore rupees threshold quickly.

Some portals are claiming that inflated figures of Leo’s collections are being circulated on social media. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj, however, is more focused on audience feedback. He acknowledges that the second half of the film had issues with pacing and intends to address them in his next project. Regarding the collections, he said he would leave that to producers.
Notably, “LEO” became the first Telugu Dussehra release to break even, turning into a profitable venture for producer Naga Vamsi, who acquired its Telugu theatrical rights.
