Actor Vikram who likes to be addressed as Chiyaan is coming with ‘Inkokkadu’ in Telugu (Iru Mugan in Tamil) next month. The Telugu buyers, Abhishek Pictures had bought the Telugu dubbed version for a whopping amount of Rs.8.5 crores.

This is the best prize a Vikram film got, in spite of back to back disasters in Telugu. The buyers are betting on Vikram’s talent one more time as there no questions on his talent and hard work. But his choice of work is hurting the trade big time.
The problem lies with the makers selecting stories that can focus on Vikram’s acting talents rather than a good script. ‘Inkokkadu’ trailer is impressive and proves to be a new generation film. However, we can’t say whether it could connect to the common audiences. The hope on Vikram’s talent keeps the buyers to bet a big amount on him.
