The huge success of Singam and Singam 2 paved the path for Singam3. This film will be directed by Hari who was helmed the previous two projects. In this film Suriya acting apposite to Anushka and Shruthi Hasan.

The shooting of this much hyped project is scheduled to commence form November first week but incessant rains in Tamil Nadu foiled the plans. Director Hari has favourite locations in Tamil Nadu like Thoothukudi and Karaikal where Singam 3 expected to take off regular shoot but those locations are submerged due to rains and will take some time to achieve normalcy.
In the meanwhile, the team is going to Kolkata to shoot for few days. Afterwards, the unit will be headed to exotic foreign locations for canning songs and important scenes. The music of the film is composed by Harris Jayaraj.
