Ranbir Kapoor’s film “Animal,” directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has turned out a big blockbuster, but several celebrities from the Indian film industry, have chosen to remain silent.
Allu Arjun, however, stood out as one of the few celebrities to share his thoughts on “Animal” via Twitter, where he hailed it as a classic.
Unfortunately, this endorsement sparked a backlash from trolls who criticized him for praising a film that celebrated misogyny and vileness.
In contrast, Mahesh Babu, who attended the film’s pre-release event, has maintained an obvious silence on “Animal.”
Last time he got severely trolled for posting a very positive review of Mem Famous. Many pulled his leg for liking such a mediocre film. Since then he has been silent and not posting his opinions about the latest films on his account.
Interestingly, reports suggest that despite his public silence, Mahesh Babu privately congratulated director Sandeep Reddy Vanga on the success of “Animal.” This way Mahesh escaped the unnecessary online trolling.
