Since the OTT debut of HanuMan a couple of days ago, there has been a commotion from a section of Mahesh Babu’s fans against the film on social media. A section of Mahesh’s fans on social media are calling HanuMan an overrated film and ridiculing the VFX grading of the film.
This commotion originates from HanuMan beating all odds and taking the box office by storm while in direct competition with Mahesh’s Guntur Kaaram this Sankranthi season. As a retaliation, a second of Mahesh’s fans are calling out the OTT version of HanuMan and spreading negativity on the same.
But perhaps it is time for Mahesh’s fans to take a chill pill and let go of the hate for HanuMan. The box office numbers are clearly there to show the film as a clear-cut winner this Sankranthi.
Mahesh’s fans quarreling and complaining about youngster Teja Sajja’s film doesn’t make for good viewing. The right thing to do is accept the box office verdict given by the audience and silently move on. Spreading hate on HanuMan after its OTT debut serves no purpose.
Quarrels between two superstar fandoms is one thing, but seeing Mahesh’s fans trying the project HanuMan a collaborative effort of youngsters doesn’t reflect well on the fanbase as a whole.
